Pearl in the Moonlight is about Cordelia, a young girl with the ability to breathe underwater from a magical ring, is forced to work on a pirate ship, and her sister Ayaru, who is bullied for her unique white hair. One night, Cordelia is sent to search for treasure and secretly finds a glowing pearl. Instead of giving it to the cruel captain, she keeps it and later gifts it to Ayaru, showing her that she is as special and beautiful as the moon. The story highlights their sisterly bond and resilience in a harsh world.
